Panama’s Catholic Community

Real estate in Panama shows that Panama has a really big population of Catholics. There are roughly two point four million people living in Panama, and over seventy percent of them are mestizo (which is a combination of Indian and European).  The catholic community of Panama is a good combination of West Indian, European and Amerindian and their official language is Spanish. Attending a catholic Sunday mass in Panama real estate would reveal that the entire ceremony is performed in Spanish. However, there are also some places in Panama real estate that would perform Sunday mass in English, since most citizens living in Panama are bilingual in the two languages.

Catholic Majority

Ninety four percent of the Panama community belongs to the Roman Catholic religion, even though officially Panama has no religion listed. There is also a small collection of other beliefs, such as Hindus, Muslims, Protestants and others. The Catholics have religious interests and are mostly employed in the Canal Zone Panama real estate. They are also cared for in places such as Ancon, Culebra, Balboa, Gornona, Clon and Cristobal thanks to some priests who have met qualifications for this type of work by virtue of their knowledge about different languages.

The Lazarists group of Catholics has established themselves in the Gorgona Panama real estate so they can focus their attention to most of the natives. They also try to avoid the places where there are a lot of Americans. The reason for this is because they believe that these people from the Northern American region actually look down on them.

The Catholic community of Panama rests easy in the fact that there are enough Catholic priests around to service every catholic community in the Canal Zone Panama real estate. However, sometimes they need extra hands to maintain the parishes themselves and make sure everything is orderly. Fortunately, the Don Bosco Salesian Fathers have arrived in this part of Central America in order to assume responsibility for one fourth of the city that is mostly populated by working men.

It is in this area of Panama real estate where they have decided to open up an orphan asylum and are currently doing the legwork in preparation for the opening of a school for the arts. This carefully-designed school has the goal of providing good quality education as well as teaches the workingmen all about the values of being a good Catholic.

In other areas, there are some Salesian Catholics who, under the supervision of three priests and also three brothers, have taken on the role of being managers of masters of this kind of work. They used to be guided by the director of the Escuela de Artes y Oficios, or the School of Arts and Crafts, which was established thanks to the Panama government but soon decided that they knew enough to take over the big responsibility themselves.

With so many Catholics working on this part of the Canal Zone in Panama, it is no wonder that Catholics in this country are turning out to be well-rounded individuals who live in harmony with one another. The Catholic community not only focuses on praying and proliferating the Good News of the Lord, but also makes sure that the entire community is equipped with skills that would make them self sustaining for life.
